Roku is looking for our next great team lead--Director... Web & eCommerce and Digital Marketing Design. In this role you'll not only guide how the world sees, understands, and feels about Roku through its website and digital assets; you'll also be instrumental in building initiatives that elevate our e-commerce strategies. Reporting to the creative director for Account Growth Marketing, you'll oversee web design and be a key player in strategically telling our story across our direct-to-consumer efforts. You'll advise on best practices for the web including responsive design, information architecture, interactive design, analytics, digital design, and D2C strategy. You believe in balancing design with business objective and are comfortable both leading a team as well as being hands-on when needed. Above all, you will build and manage a team to create a unified, integrated consumer experience across our website, landing pages, and micro-sites that puts the consumer first throughout their journey. What you'll be doing Provide empowering leadership for direct reports Inspire creative excellence and promote brand standards Provide clear and concise communication on projects, with people, and within processes Partner with stakeholders on continual optimizations to improve business results and consumer experience Collaborate with web marketing to create strategic pathways for executable roadmaps Create consumer-first journeys using CMS-driven sites (using existing components and defining new assets as possible) Identify and investigate best practices for web design and e-commerce trends Continually improve consumer experiences and business results Work with engineering department to implement new design capabilities Strong typography, layout, and visual design skills Be detail-oriented and have excellent time management skills Present confidently to stakeholders, creative director and executives Creative problem-solving skills including storyboarding and rapid visualization. We're excited if you have 10
years experience with D2C e-commerce websites, preferably with consumer electronics and/or goods 10
years managing experience with at least one of the major e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify, Magento and/or BigCommerce) Working knowledge with evolving and adapting CMS design systems (such as AEM, Wordpress and Contentful) Extensive working knowledge of UI design systems for web Familiarity with Jira and Asana project management software Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite along with Figma or applicable software The Roku culture Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. $200K -- $250K
