Project Manager- Environmental

Description

Due to tremendous growth here at RQAW|DCCM, we are in search of a talented Project Manager for our Corporate office here in Fishers, IN. This position will report directly to our Indiana Environmental Office Leader.

  • Manage the preparation of NEPA documents, schedule, budget, etc. for Indiana Projects
  • Manage/Mentor entry-level NEPA practitioners.
  • Conduct various environmental analyses (field and desktop), develop recommendations, and prepare technical reports under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and applicable state regulations and programs.
  • Prepare NEPA documentation including Environmental Assessments (EAs), Categorical Exclusions (CEs), and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).
  • Conduct Section 4(f) and Section 6(f) coordination and documentation.
  • Provide quality assurance and quality control for all final products to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and other marketing endeavors.
  • Attend client meetings, including project kick-offs, update meetings, field reviews, etc. 
  • Conduct desktop studies using ArcPro GIS software.
  • Review and interpret planning studies and/or preliminary design plan sets or concepts. 
  • Interact with coworkers, designers, clients, regulatory agencies, and sub-consultants to achieve project objectives. 
  • Assist other team members with various NEPA studies in additional states.
  • Work with the Director of Environmental Services and other Environmental Leadership to grow and expand our services.

Requirements

  • BS in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with NEPA, as it relates to transportation projects.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Have current Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) NEPA certification.
  • Experience with ArcPro GIS software.
