Job Description

The Implementation Analyst is responsible for working directly with clients to analyze business operations and recommend solutions that align with RRD implementation best practices and client goals.

This position will train and prepare customers for successful rollouts of our Merchandising Management Application "AdPlanner". He/She will ensure effective transfer of information by training the RRD operations and customer resources. This position will support multiple, concurrent projects and drive working sessions with clients to ensure expectations and direction are aligned and timelines are being met.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Gather required information from the client to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create a feasible solution
  • Understand client business requirements and develop positive relationships with a client’s business stakeholders.
  • Maintains day-to-day client relationship related to the onboarding, support, adoption of the application, and client satisfaction.
  • Drive adoption of contracted functionality to ensure client is maximizing their usage of and value from AdPlanner.
  • Assists with configuration of the AdPlanner platform to meet client requirements.
  • During implementation, identify potential scope creep / out of scope work and escalates to project manager.
  • Support account management team in preparing, presenting, and negotiating pricing and statement of work for contracts.
  • Identifies potential expanded sales opportunities and notifies / coordinates with account management team to pursue.
  • Demonstrate and Train: The Implementation Support Analyst will be responsible to demonstrate the system and its features and train the client how to use their new system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 5-7 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
  • Able to apply work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems.
  • Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems.
  • Requires strong communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.

 

Important:

  • Customer-facing systems implementation experience 
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies
  • Knowledge/experience with software deployment including; testing, documentation, support
  • Understanding of multi-channel marketing in the retail industry
  • Skills in productivity software (Acrobat, MS-Office, Google Suite, Email)

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of print production is a plus
  • Experience with retail promotion planning systems
  • Basic understanding of application integration using web services
  • Experience with database concepts and software
  • Experience with low-code/no-code solutions (Filemaker, Access, Quickbase)
  • Specific knowledge of the grocery industry

 

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $62,800 to $111,400 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
