In this role, you will be responsible for transcribing and annotating speech data, playing a crucial part in improving the quality and accuracy of audio experiences.Key Responsibilities• Transcription & Annotation: Provide hands-on transcription and annotation services for speech data.• Guideline Implementation: Translate established guidelines into daily work practices to ensure consistent and high-quality outputs.• Collaboration: Work closely with management on workload scheduling and deliverables.• API Familiarity: Understand basic concepts of APIs and apply common sense logic in the annotation process.• Data Evaluation: Annotate ground truth data and identify bucket failures in evaluation datasets.Basic Qualifications• 2+ years of relevant experience• High School diploma or GED required.• Proficient in English• Must be familiar with APIs in general• Ability to read off a script• Comfortable with computer literacy and typing speed of 50 wpm.• Experience working with technical teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications• Previous experience in speech transcription or annotation is highly desirable.ABOUT US:Russell Tobin is a leading minority-owned professional and technical recruitment and staffing advisory organization.We are comprised of specialized practices focusing on a variety of skill sets and industries.
