JOB DESCRIPTIONTremco Construction Products Group brings together Tremco CPG Inc.'s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada and PureAir Control Services, Inc.Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&D/technology sites, and employ more than 2,700 people across North America.GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:The Production Assembler performs assigned tasks that include, but are not limited to, producing architectural shapes, EIFS wall components, and exterior panel systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows the daily production schedule set by the Production Supervisor.Hand applies adhesive mesh to parts.Mix base coats and finish with electric drill and paddle.Works as part of a team to run parts through extrusion equipment.Trowels base coats and finishes.Assembles and pours mold for cast stone.Trims parts with cutting equipment.Completes final sanding and touch up of parts.Assists in building custom crates based on project specifications.Prepares and organizes parts for shipment.Assists with shipping and receiving.Follows all safety requirements.Cleans equipment after use and assists team in keeping production space clean and organized.Assists with monthly inventory counts.Uses power tools and equipment competently and safely.Cut mesh rolls and Fedderlite channels to specific lengths.Comprehends and utilizes basic work orders, fills out material usage forms, man hour sheets, and other daily production related forms.Performs entry level plastering (e.g. minor touch-ups, basic base coating, etc.).Performs quality control assurance activities.Utilizes Monday.com to update and track production progress, shipments, inventory, etc.Independently sets up and operates extrusion machine.Acts in a lead capacity during project work; comprehends and utilizes complex work orders pertaining to larger scale projects.Performs journeyman level plastering (capable of independently applying most base coats, finishes, etc.).Identifies and diagnoses issues within daily production processes as they develop.Tracks and provides data for production process tracking and improvement.Identifies and addresses safety concerns consistently.Trains and/or assists less experienced team members using knowledge and expertise.EDUCATION:No formal educational requirement.High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.EXPERIENCE:2-4 years of previous work experience.Previous work in a construction, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred.Previous work in the aluminum panel or window industry is preferred.OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:Models the values and expectations of 168 - integrity, responsible entrepreneurship, commitment, and moral courage.Demonstrates accepted ethical and professional business behavior.Executes ISO authority and responsibility. Reports suspected violations including those of a business associate.Observes all safety procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions, and uses and maintains equipment and materials properly.BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $20.50 and $24.92.
