Job Duties: Lead and direct Production, Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Supply Chain Operations within the company. Ensure that appropriate resources are allocated to achieve strategic financial and business objectives. Develop strategic goals while aligning tasks with company policies and procedures. Through liaison with site Operations and Supply Chain management, direct and execute operations and supplier management strategies to ensure on-time delivery of parts with highest quality and lowest cost, thereby meeting all commitments relating to deliveries, quality and cost. Develop and meet budgets. Improve financial performance through inventory management/reduction and develop an understanding of the drivers of material costs as a percentage of revenue. Foster Continuous Improvement activities, in concert with CI teams, addressing planning and design/redesign and testing of new techniques, methods, tooling and equipment. Drive operational efficiency and reduce cycle time by utilizing proven approaches, robust KPI's and applying CI outcomes. Develop comprehensive site capital and maintenance budgets consistent with business plans. Assess present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities for the BU. Drive the Operations organization to achieve customer satisfaction goals and product quality.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher (or foreign equivalent) in Operations Management/ Engineering and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in Operations Management in complex manufacturing, production, or assembly environment in the aerospace industry. 5 years of stated experience must have been in a senior leadership role, and must include: linking financial outcomes with operational actions, and developing operational plan and organization structures aligned with business needs; developing budgets and meeting budgets; improving KPI achievements; Responsibility for sustaining AS9100/ISO9002 quality systems standard for operations, supply chain, facility and Site performance; Leading, coaching and sponsoring LEAN Sigma process improvement and process control; and SAP Experience subject matter expertise with Order to Cash (OTC), Service to Cash (STC), and Plan to produce (PTP). Must have PMP certification and Lean Sigma Black Belt Certification.
