The Jamie Oliver Cookery School teaches food and cookery the Jamie way. We pride ourselves on our inspirational, educational and entertaining classes; covering cuisines, skills and techniques from around the world.
Located at the heart of Jamie’s headquarters, our impressive facilities help create a warm, welcome and informal atmosphere - perfect for learning, dining, and relaxing. Our school runs over two platforms; in-person, and online. Our online classes have been enormously popular; the format is a powerful educational tool, adept at delivering both detail and depth. Being open to the public over two formats, broadens the audience we can connect with, and extends our reach to around the globe.
Joining The Jamie Oliver Cookery School you’ll also be part of the wider Jamie Oliver Group, a dynamic and diverse business that supports and delivers Jamie’s commercial and campaigning vision. The main purpose of this role is to ensure customers have an enjoyable experience from their first interaction with us when booking through to their class, providing great customer service. It is also to heavily support the smooth running of the team, class scheduling and office administrative tasks.
Position
WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO
Manage the Cookery School calendar, scheduling classes and ensuring the calendar is always up to date with correct details
Manage all corporate sales and group bookings from start to finish
Work closely with the Finance team reconciling accounts and submitting supplier invoices to be paid within agreed time frame
Assisting the management team monthly sales reports
Supporting the management team with administrative tasks such as scheduling team rotas and holidays
Manage third party partnerships such as Virgin Experience Days
Keep clear and accurate notes from correspondence with customers
Ensure customers are aware of additional services, sessions and events that can be added to their booking to elevate their experience
When required assist with creating bespoke events and parties that meet the expectations of our customers
Requirements
HOW YOU’LL DO IT

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities at once
Show empathy and understanding when dealing with customer related issues
Quick problem solving skills
Always work in a calm and approachable manner
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & CONTACTS
Act as an ambassador of Jamie’s Cookery School and the lessons, recommending other sessions/events that students could attend.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with the wider Cookery School team so that everyone is able to work hard together to achieve all the great things that Jamie has set out to do.
