About The Role:

We are seeking a Sales Associate to play a crucial role in our company's new SaaS initiative, SpendHound.

As a Sales Associate, you will join our SpendHound team and assist in acquiring new clients. Your responsibilities will include qualifying inbound sales leads/opportunities, following up with marketing qualified opportunities, and proactively identifying potential leads. You will utilize various communication methods to initiate sales engagements effectively.

The career progression for the Sales Associate role opens a path towards becoming a Sales Executive, where you will focus on acquiring and engaging new business opportunities. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and advancement within our dynamic SpendHound sales team.

This position is located in NYC, and the requirement is for you to work at the office for three (3) days each week.


In this role, you'll gain experience in:

  • Running a full sales cycle from initial outreach all the way to close
  • Working both inbound and outbound opportunities
  • Selling into C-level executives
  • Working in a startup environment - you'll be part of a small team going to market on a totally new product

You are likely to succeed if:

  • You have 2+ years in a high velocity sales environment either as a top performing SDR/BDR or Junior AE
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy spending a lot of time on phone and video calls
  • You have strong email communication skills
  • You're comfortable working in a dynamic environment where things can change quickly
  • You're organized and can manage a large pipeline of opportunities

  • The annual salary for this position is anticipated to be up to $100,000 On-Target-Earning ($70,000 Base + $30,000+ Uncapped Bonus). The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.
