Sales Associate

About the Role

Root Source is looking for an experienced, passionate, and detail-oriented Sales Associate. This person will assist the Root Source and Creatd Ventures teams in all sales and administrative needs. You are well organized, execute with a project management frame of reference, and are comfortable with an ever-changing environment. You are adaptable and can accommodate shifting priorities and timelines. You work without ego and value radical transparency— you seize any opportunity to add value to the collective.

What You’ll Do:

• Constantly be on the lookout for new wholesale and distribution opportunities

• Staying knowledgeable about our range of DTC products including Camp, Dune and Basis

• Send cold emails to brands and distributors

• Set up introductory phone calls on behalf of the Sales Manager

• Create purchase orders, obtain customer payment information for wholesale orders processed via email

• Process request for samples for possible partnerships, content creators, influencers, etc.

• Create priority shipments with FedEx

• Update internal pipelines for any new sales or samples sent to potential partners

• Follow up on wholesale orders to upsell

What You’ll Need:

• Comfortable working flexible hours in order to accommodate clients

• Ability to travel as needed
