About the Role
Validity is hiring for an experienced Sales Commissions Analyst/Senior Sales Commissions Analyst. Reporting to the Manager - Revenue Accounting, this role will be responsible for elevating Validity’s commission cycle process and driving the timely and accurate reporting of global sales incentives.
Position Duties and Responsibilities

Process the global sales commissions calculations and related accounting and reporting

Own data integrity, system administrative responsibilities, and external relationships for sales incentive management software

Assess current sales incentive calculation process and software application and make necessary changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Partner with Management, FP&A and Sales Operations to create compensation structures, quotas and maintain monthly commission reporting and forecasting

Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure the accurate and timely recording of sales commissions and deferred commissions under US Generally Accepted Account Principles (GAAP)

Provide commissions information to the Payroll team ensuring deadlines are met and commissions are paid out in the appropriate period

Maintain end-to-end responsibility for key Sales Commissions cycle

Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure sales commissions accruals, payments and capitalized amounts are entered into NetSuite in a timely manner and classified accurately in the General Ledger
- Maintain the Sales Commissions email inbox and ensure all issues are resolved timely

Assist with year-end audits and any additional compliance engagements
- Aid in the design and documentation around implementing critical commission policies across the organization
Required Experience, Skills, and Education

A minimum of 3-years of directly-related commissions experience calculating global sales commissions

Demonstrated ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
-
Experience working in a multi-currency environment

Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP system is a plus; high level of proficiency in Excel; experience with Microsoft Office 365; Salesforce experience

Track record of documenting, implementing, and communicating policies and procedures

Highly organized, detail and process-oriented; develops and executes project plans within designated timelines

Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to achieve common goals

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and make judgment-based decisions with a good sense for when escalation and additional communication may be necessary

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business from an accredited college or university

Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting rules related to deferred commissions and ASC 606 and 340 is a plus

Prior experience working at an international SaaS company is a plus

Prior experience working in Xactly is a plus
