Your Role:

The successful candidate will partner with members of the business development team to generate business in new and existing verticals. Sales Development Representatives will contact prospective customers, interpret their business requirements, and will help move qualified leads through the sales pipeline.

This highly-interactive role will reward the Sales Development Representative through a performance based compensation plan where in addition to a competitive base salary & other benefits, commissions are paid for every lead generated, and for every opportunity opened and closed.

Your Job:

  • Customer outreach via phone, email, social media, and B2B marketing to connect with as many leads as possible
  • Educate and qualify prospective leads, helping to book meetings, calls and demonstrations with the Sales team
  • Help move qualified leads through the sales pipeline to increase revenue and commission payout
  • Receive and incorporate feedback into Global Relay's business performance
  • Assist the Sales team in post-sale engagement and upsell efforts
  • Partner with Marketing to assemble, coordinate and distribute documents and materials

About You:

  • The ideal candidate is an active listener, is eager to learn about SaaS technology, and is motivated to make money!
  • Resilient and determined to challenge themselves and others daily
  • Previous experience in a sales/retail environment preferred
  • Proven ability to listen and record key points in a conversation, respond with clarity and to overcome challenging situations
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
  • Ability to convey enthusiasm, energy and sincerity in telephone interactions
