About our Team
Interfolio, an Elsevier company, builds innovative products for the global higher education and research communities. Interfolio provides academic information systems to support collaboration and academic decision-making.
Interfolio is the leading provider of research impact tracking software. We make it easy for researchers, universities, and funders to evaluate the impact of their research. Our technology enables funders to better track and understand their research enabling them to advocate for further investment. We capture outcomes of research beyond academic publications, reach a wide range of stakeholders.
About the Role
Each new client relationship starts with the Sales Development Team. Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) work in close collaboration with senior Account Executives, who serve as mentors and help guide the strategy and tactical execution of a territory sales plan. Using a combination of Challenger and Solution Selling methods, SDRs engage with executives at colleges and universities to demonstrate how their institutions can better serve their faculty and in turn, their students. SDR's develop expertise in the higher ed landscape, and use their research and conversations to identify institutional pains and inefficiencies and demonstrate the benefits of the Interfolio platform. Given their forward-facing role, SDR’s bring new insights and ideas to the broader Interfolio team including Marketing, Product and executive leadership.
