Sales Development Representative- Japanese Speaking

We are seeking an energetic, well-spoken remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is fluent in Japanese and is able to work Tokyo business hours to join our marketing team in Japan to grow our customer base. You will follow up on marketing campaign leads and prospect proactively to ABM leads, engaging target accounts via email, calls, and social; qualifying, objective handling, and converting leads to meetings for the outside sales reps.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop sales strategies to draw in prospects and/or solicit new prospects
  • Initiate contact with prospects through cold calling, email, and social—and nurture these leads ongoing
  • Quickly generate rapport with prospects to identify their needs and drive engagement
  • Become an expert on the Deep Instinct product and market space
  • Technical competence to discuss messaging, positioning, competitive differentiation, and product information to match prospect’s needs
  • Move leads through the marketing funnel, set meetings, and make sure they happen consistently
  • Ensure that the sales reps have all salient information to run a successful initial session(s) with the prospect
  • Maintain a high volume of activity and ensure all information about your efforts are reflected accurately and comprehensively in our systems, especially Salesforce
  • Previous experience with Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs is a plus

Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in Japanese, have conversational English skills and be able to work Tokyo business hours
  • This role is open to remote within the USA
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on sales development experience (hunting over the phone, cold calling) with a proven successful track record.
  • Must have B2B sales experience, Cyber security experience—preferred
  • Salesforce.com expertise
  • Expressive speaker with ability to quickly and clearly articulate highly technical information.
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Proven over achievement record with an aggressive hunter mentality
  • Excellent phone & email communication skills
  • Methodological and organized
