About the Role
As the Sales Manager, you'll oversee all activities of your assigned Account Management team. Partnering with your team and their accounts focused on improving customer satisfaction of our products. Providing analysis of usage and metrics, identify issues, and developing strategies to mitigate issues. Escalating appropriately while collaborating with Sales Executives and Strategic Account Directors. You and your team will be responsible for providing excellent customer support and value-added services. Ensuring high retention and renewal rates of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and coaching a team of Account Managers to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales. Developing the team to deliver customer satisfaction in support of renewal retention, and opportunities for new sales or additional solutions.
- Collaborating with your team to develop key renewal sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to ensure retention. Positioning for new business expansion, and to mitigate risks.
- Communicating value propositions through presentations and proposals.
- Managing your team’s renewal pipeline consisting of short-term and long-term expansion opportunities focusing on renewal retention strategies and value creation.
- Delivering accurate and timely forecasts, proactively identify risks and address them with urgency, following sales processes, and maintaining Salesforce data.
- Serving as a point of escalation in complex negotiations related, but not limited to, RFP’s, pricing, and annual contracts.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement, promote, drive, and deliver on promotional and commercial product strategies.
- Ongoing market analysis and assessment of market landscape and market intelligence, focusing on future renewal retention strategies and value creation.
- Building and maintaining a network of relationships in Health system leadership. Leveraging strategic partnerships that offer industry insight and future partnerships.
- Partnering with product, commercial and marketing to provide in-depth analysis and understanding of customer needs. Analyzing market trends that help guide Clinical Solutions strategy.
Requirements
- Able to conduct meetings with internal and external clients and stakeholders, in personal presentation and general interactions.
- Able to manage confidential information with discretion and maturity.
- Have critical time management, conflict resolution, communication, and metric analysis skills.
- Able to focus on providing exceptional customer service combined with exemplary follow-through.
- Have a consistent track record of success leading a team to exceed revenue goals.
- Able to implement and train sales teams in strategic selling techniques while coaching, developing and motivating the team.
- Experience selling technology-based product to hospitals or health systems and Salesforce or related CRM experience.
- Able to travel overnight, generally up to 25% of the time or based upon the needs of the business.
