Salary Range:
$76,400.00 - $122,100.00
(Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities and location. Certain level jobs may be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity awards.)

Job Description Summary
The Cash Management Sales Officer is responsible for effectively selling the bank’s depository and Cash Management services to existing and prospective clients, either in conjunction with Commercial Lending Officers or Branch Staff or on an individual basis. Sales Officers provide excellent customer service, training, and technical support to the bank’s clients who use Cash Management products, and provide ongoing training and support to internal staff for all Cash Management services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepare account analysis comparisons for prospective clients; work in conjunction with staff from lines of business supported (Retail and Commercial) to prepare and present proposals for depository and/or Cash Management services.
Successfully identify client needs and cross-sell additional bank services as appropriate.
Participate in annual relationship reviews for existing bank clients.
Regular attendance at and participation in team meetings for Retail and Commercial Banking business units.
Submit requests for new service setups (or changes to existing services) in a timely manner to Cash Management Support team; communicate the status of requests to clients and internal staff as required.
Respond in a prompt and courteous manner to both client and bank staff inquires and requests for research and problem resolution.
Review account analysis statements to ensure that correct pricing is in place for all services.Provide in-person training (when needed) for users of Cash Management services, and also provide in-person demonstrations of Cash Management services to clients, prospective clients, and internal bank staff.
Assist other team members in obtaining required CIP documentation from new (or existing) clients when required.
Keep abreast of current industry trends, identify potential enhancements to the bank’s current product offerings, and identify new products/services that would provide a benefit to either the bank and/or clients.
Attendance at regional Association for Financial Professional events, including monthly meetings and annual conferences.
Assist in the creation and timely maintenance of client user guides and instruction manuals for Cash Management products and services (when required).
Actively participate in projects related enhancements of existing services, and/or the implementation of new services.
Update new business, incremental sales and pipleline reports in a timely basis, no less than monthly.
Prepare reports required for internal meetings (when required).
Comply with all of the bank’s current policies and procedures.
Local travel to visit branches, commercial lending offices, and/or clients. Such activities may include making sales calls, negotiating deals, training, and performing other duties as needed to serve clients, prospective clients and internal staff members.
Willingness to assume additional duties/projects as they arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work related experience in cash management sales/operations support in a retail bank.
Minimum 5 years work experience in Cash Management sales or service position required, experience in commercial banking strongly preferred.
General working knowledge of the range of cash management products and services (collections, disbursements, information reporting, liquidity management) offered by commercial banks.
Familiarity with Account Analysis, which is the bank’s billing mechanism for cash management services.
CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) and/or AAP (Accredited ACH Professional) certification preferred.
Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
Must possess excellent communication skills and customer service skills with a high level of professionalism, whether over the phone, in person, or in writing.
Must be able to effectively multi-task.
Superior problem solving, researching and decision-making skills.
Strong ability, desire and enjoyment in working with others as part of a diverse team as well as work independently. Desire to serve and act in the best interest of the customer and effectively manage customer relationships.
Must possess excellent judgment, and the ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information.
Strong keyboarding and computer skills. MS Office experience including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Ability to work independently, set priorities and handle multiple tasks. Must be dependable in completing tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
A valid driver's license, working vehicle and auto liability insurance are required.
