As part of our Agribusiness team, you'll help our customers leverage technology and data insights to connect upstream and downstream and optimize profitability, efficiency and insights.

As a Sales Operations Manager within Sales Enablement your primary responsibilities will include: Leading the implementation and adoption of TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods sales processes and techniques, also known as Premier Sales Organization (PSO), by managing projects, defining priorities, adjusting timelines, and building content and tools. You will follow company playbooks and guides to train sales leaders and executives, drive engagement and adoption, and measure adoption through the use of tools, KPIs, and sign-off forms.

Here's how

  • Coaching sales leaders and executives through 1:1 meetings to identify sales execution gaps and provide feedback on the sales funnel. You will support short- and long-term visualization of sales data, and provide leading questions to help improve funnel health.
  • Building and maintaining tools to support the business unit's information needs, including sales progress by rep, teams, and verticals according to leaders' needs. You will track sales performance and keep records of monthly KPI evolution and oversee sales executive records. You will guide users on good business practices that lead to sales performance improvement and support Marketing and Operations on sales information from Salesforce.
  • Onboarding salespeople based on our principles, milestones, and feedback. You will lead the development of three pillars of content, including Business Acumen, Product Knowledge, and Sales Techniques, and provide support and coaching to all new sales reps and leaders.
  • Accountability to our numbers will be of paramount importance. Knowledge of Salesforce reporting and dashboard building is necessary as we bring clarity and visibility to our progress as a sales team.

What you bring to the role

  • Technical skills: Experience with sales tools, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, is important. Candidates should also have experience with project management tools, such as Trello or Monday.com.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills are a must, as the Sales Enablement Representative will be responsible for training and coaching sales leaders and executives. The ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across different departments and at different levels is also important.
  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyze data and measure the success of sales enablement programs is important. Candidates should be comfortable working with data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative problem-solving: The Sales Enablement Representative will be responsible for developing and delivering sales training and enablement programs that address the specific needs of the sales team. The ability to think creatively and problem-solve is important.
  • Collaboration skills: The Sales Enablement Representative will need to work closely with sales leaders and executives, as well as marketing, operations, and other departments. The ability to collaborate effectively is important.
  • Experience managing team members with 15+ years of agricultural and food-value chain knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a sales or sales enablement role is preferred. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the sales process and experience developing and delivering sales training and enablement programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Demonstrated track record of large volume of communication (emails, calls, etc) to prospects.
  • Must be equally comfortable selling to in-field locations as well as to C-level executives
  • Proven knowledge and network of companies – preferably in industries related to agronomic service companies, fertilizer and crop protection retail companies, agricultural cooperatives and food companies.

The US base salary range for this position is 140k-175k USD. This position may be eligible for a variable compensation BONUS. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within that range, individual pay is determined by work location and a variety of factors, which may include but not limited, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.
