Position: Business Development / Sales

Location: Remote; Los Angeles Area

NIC is a well-established MSP (IT Managed Service Provider) delivering Cybersecurity, Cloud Hosting, Backup and Disaster Recovery services to clients here in the LA area and nationwide. We service clients in all industries, including Financial, Legal, Healthcare and more. As a trusted managed service provider, we bring a mix of Managed IT services, security, and network connectivity, fully managed by our team of experts 24/7/365. We strive to help our clients and their companies function better, faster, and smarter. We are rapidly growing and are looking to bring someone on board that can generate new business and close deals. We offer an exciting and collaborative working environment, with potential for growth.

Requirements: What you bring to the team

  • Must live in the Los Angeles area and be able to meet in-person with potential clients
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales or related B2B demand generation experience
  • 3-5 years of cold calling B2B sales
  • Prior sales or marketing experience with technology solutions in a consultative sales role or environment (Prior MSP experience would be great!)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and ability to perform basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
  • Ability to generate leads through cold calls, networking, and marketing events

KPIs: Daily, weekly, and quarterly

  • Outbound and inbound call activity (75-100 activities per day)
  • Lead-generating email and social media activity (25+ activities per day)
  • Number of meetings set
  • Number of leads converted

The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

This position is Base + Commission
