Level III Technician - Onsite/Remote

NIC is an MSP located in Woodland Hills, CA. We have been in business since 2002 and are rapidly growing. We work with clients locally as well as nationwide and are looking to expand our team!

Job Title: Level III Remote/Onsite Technician

We are looking for a highly skilled Level III Remote/Onsite Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in providing IT support with an MSP and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our client's IT infrastructure and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who possesses the following technical abilities -

  • Provide Level III remote and onsite technical support to clients
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and software applications
  • Monitor and optimize system performance
  • Develop and maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and procedures
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex issues
  • Train and mentor Level I and Level II technicians

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support with an MSP
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Experience working with various RMM platforms such as ConnectWise RMM, N-Able, etc.
  • Experience working with Microsoft365 and Google Workspace
  • Experience with automation and scripting
  • Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • IT industry certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or CCNP are a plus

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
