Sales Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst with a strong background in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business, preferably with an emphasis on Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the candidate will play a critical role in driving operational efficiencies and delivering insights to support strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer to assess and optimize financial performance of our Sales and GTM operations.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
• Analyze sales trends, market dynamics, and key business drivers to provide valuable business insights and decision support.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Present financial and operational data to Sales leadership and cross-functional teams, highlighting key trends and performance metrics.
• Partner with sales leadership/Sales Ops to build to assess the impact of comp plans on revenue.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Suggest automation and process improvements for FP&A analyses directed at GTM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Maths, Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a SaaS business.
• Proficient in creating and managing complex financial models.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and experience in sales/GTM strategy.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with financial planning software is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
