Responsibilities & Impact:
As the Partner Marketing Lead for Amazon Web Services (AWS), you'll play a pivotal role in driving our go-to-market strategy with AWS, amplifying the joint value proposition, and spearheading co-marketing programs with Product Marketers at Salesforce.
Salesforce's collaboration with AWS is integral to delivering heightened success for our customers. Together, we address our evolving customers' needs, spanning areas such as cloud infrastructure, web analytics, productivity and development tools. We seek a high-integrity product marketer with strategic skill and an interest in execution. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments and excels at creating impactful, technical content that generates leads, and drives pipeline for our strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Joint Messaging and Positioning: Collaborate with AWS and Salesforce Product and Industry PMMs to develop joint messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the value of combined solutions and use cases to customers. This involves understanding the unique value propositions and crafting compelling narratives that resonate with customers.
Co-Branding and Co-Marketing: Manage co-branding initiatives, and create content for co-marketing campaigns, ensuring that branding guidelines are adhered to and that marketing efforts are aligned to achieve mutual goals. Content includes enablement documents, slide decks, e-books, videos, events and webinar content.
Support Campaign Management: Ensure integrated marketing campaigns and programs contribute to building awareness, sales pipeline, and closing deals. Integrate content into email marketing, digital marketing, account-based-marketing, and social media campaigns across Salesforce products and industries.
Events and Execution: Attend event activations and leverage global events like Dreamforce to share innovative insights and ideas to help our strategic partners and customers succeed.
Budget and Performance: Manage marketing budget, allocate resources across tactics, and optimize spending to improve results. Continuously monitor marketing and sales performance metrics, pipeline development, and forecasts to make data-driven decisions and report back results to collaborators.
Strategic Communications: Plan and implement compelling communications internally and externally, to help our partners build awareness within Salesforce and also to our target customers, ensuring consistency and efficiency across various channels.
Team Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with global technology partnerships, sales, marketing, and PR teams. Work closely with the global technology partnerships team to align marketing strategies with corporate objectives, to drive Marketplace transactions.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in partner or product marketing at a high tech company, or similar.
• Experience with enterprise technology and understanding of the sales cycle, with a solid understanding of the Salesforce technology stack being a plus.
• Proven experience in partner co-marketing, preferably working with AWS or other top technology partners.
• Expertise in Salesforce products and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and lead new projects, even in ambiguous situations.
• Strategic vision to articulate go-to-market strategy and drive cross-functional execution.
• Creative thinking skills to develop a range of assets including enablement documents, slide decks, ebooks, videos, event and webinar content.
• Experience collaborating with business development teams, field sales, and strategic channel partners.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create transformative technical assets.
• Personal qualities including self-motivation, organization, collaboration, proactivity, positivity, creativity, openness to feedback, and resilience under pressure.
• Ability to inspire optimism, foster a fun work environment, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,600 to $152,200.
For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,800 to $167,400.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
