About the Role
The Salesforce Developer is responsible for building complex technical configurations that cannot be achieved using declarative methods within Salesforce for all channels of the company. This individual manages individual projects as well works as a pivotal member of Salesforce deployment teams. This person actively promotes system health and data integrity by determining potential errors in the system and resolving them.
This person is able to perform deep analysis into system log files to determine specific issues in processes and suggest or perform improvements to the existing configurations. This individual has a proven record within Salesforce architecture, Data Architecture and Management, APEX Development and best practices, as well as Data-ops processes. The Salesforce Developer is a project team member driving simple and complex deployments within the Salesforce platform as well as supporting Salesforce Administrators with projects that include complex configurations and/or require programming support.

What You’ll Do
Salesforce administration and configuration, including workflows, process builder, flows and custom object builds
Salesforce development and code maintenance, including APEX Triggers, REST API webhooks, Scheduled APEX and Custom Metadata and Configurations.
Aura and Lightning components for both the Public Communities and internal LEX users.
Troubleshoot and analyze existing inefficient configurations and propose and implement more efficient and scalable alternatives to reduce technical debt.
Work with the Engineering team to optimize existing API integrations (using standard or custom APIs) or to assist in the creation of new ones to ensure a fully functioning and scalable Houzz<->Salesforce integration.
At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have
3+ years experience with Salesforce.com, with at least 1 year of developer experience.
Salesforce certification required.
Proven track record of improving performance in +5 year old Salesforce Orgs.
Experience with Salesforce REST API and Bulk API in high API traffic environments.
Proven track record of effective project management delivering end-to-end solutions.
Experience interacting and communicating deliverables to a wide variety of Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, Legal and Executive leaders
