Staff Engineer, Creative Technologist

Samsung Design Innovation Center in San Francisco is seeking a Creative Technologist to research, design, innovate, and prototype new user experiences across Samsung’s product portfolio.

Skills

Expert in application and software service programming languages
Strong understanding of design principles and design best practices
Knowledge of current design software and techniques
Broad engineering competence and technical knowledge of software systems
Hands-on approach and flexibility in experimenting

Responsibilities

Define new product platforms and strategies
Drive platform research and experimentation
Prepare technical requirements and design specifications
Strengthen partnerships with internal stakeholders
Prototyping of new concepts in both physical and digital design
Contribute to team development

Education

Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Product Design/Design Engineering, SW and HW, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
