Cloud Solution Architect

Sarmad is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team and drive the design and implementation of cloud solutions. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for delivering innovative cloud strategies, architecture, and designs that effectively meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, ensure compliance with best practices, and optimize performance and security for cloud applications.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies that align with the organization's goals.
Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions using various cloud platforms.
Conduct thorough assessments of existing infrastructure and make recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate with application development teams to integrate cloud capabilities into their projects.
Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to continually refine architecture.
Manage cost optimization and monitoring
Design migration strategy and planning
Design and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
Provide guidance and support for the adoption of best practices in cloud operations and governance.

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
Experience in achieving PCI certification for cloud environments.
Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud).
Proficiency in cloud technologies including containers, microservices, and serverless architectures.
Proficiency in migration from On-Prem to Cloud based infrastructure
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and automation tools.
Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance for cloud-based solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
