Aerospace CMM Programmer/Quality Technician

Your Role
SAS FF’s manufacturing team is critical to executing our missions. As an Aerospace CMM Programmer/Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in significantly impacting the company and industry.
Your role will include:
- Responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the quality of our products meets customer and industry standards
- Perform first-article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections
- Analyze inspection data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain calibration of measuring equipment and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Assist with the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures
- Performing quality inspection, applying quality inspection techniques, and identifying nonconforming hardware
- Ensuring quality document management, quality control, and compliance with requirements and procedures
- Working effectively with cross-functional groups - Engineering, Program Management, and Customers with minimal assistance
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Materials handling, receiving, packaging, and shipping
How You Will Be Rewarded
The hourly salary for this role is $27.88 to $36.05. Compensation depends on the candidate’s work experience, education/training, and related skills.

To qualify specifically for this role, we require candidates to have the following:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands on experience in programming and operating CMM machines
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with metrology equipment and software, such as PC-DMIS
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
