Content Marketing Specialist

Sauce is a premier restaurant technology platform that helps businesses grow with our Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup structure and proprietary delivery optimization technology. We are serving a 105 billion dollar US local restaurant business. Headquartered in NYC and Tel-Aviv, Sauce wants restaurants to fulfill their highest potential, this means giving local establishments everything they need to connect directly with their customers. The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.


This position is pivotal in ensuring Sauce’s messaging is consistent and impactful across pre-sales, customer success, and ongoing communication efforts, driving growth and strengthening customer relationships.


Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.


If based in NYC, this is a hybrid role! If based outside of NYC, this is a remote role!


What You'll Do:
  • Pre-Sales Content Development:
  • Develop resources tailored to potential customers, such as FAQs, customer-centric value propositions, and tailored industry insights.
  • Ensure all pre-sales content aligns with Sauce’s brand messaging and highlights the unique value Sauce brings to SMB restaurants.
  • Sales Enablement Content:
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to create high-impact materials that help drive revenue, such as pitch decks, one-pagers, and product overviews.
  • Work with Marketing to align on messaging and include case studies and success stories in sales materials.
  • Customer Success Enablement:
  • Create resources to support ongoing restaurant success, such as onboarding guides, feature highlights, and "how-to" materials.
  • Collaborate with the CS team to produce playbooks for addressing common customer scenarios and maximizing retention.
  • Case Studies and Success Stories:
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to identify, write, design, and publish case studies that showcase Sauce’s impact in the SMB restaurant space.
  • Highlight customer wins, focusing on how Sauce helps drive growth, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
  • Ongoing Newsletters:
  • Manage and create newsletters for:
  • Pre-sales prospects (e.g., featuring success stories, product updates, and industry news).
  • Existing customers (e.g., tips for maximizing value, new features, and industry trends).
  • Personalize content for different audience segments to ensure relevance and engagement.
  • Content Strategy Alignment:
  • Partner with Product Marketing to align on broader product marketing initiatives and ensure messaging consistency across all materials.
  • Collaborate with CS to gather feedback and measure the effectiveness of enablement content.


What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in content marketing, sales enablement, or customer communication roles, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Experience creating customer-facing content for both acquisition and retention.
  • Basic design skills using tools like Canva.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms for newsletters (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and CS teams.
  • Analytical skills to assess the impact of content and refine based on feedback.
