Overview:
We are currently seeking an SBA Closing Officer who will be responsible for ordering and reviewing loan due diligence documents with protecting the Bank’s interest from the time of approval through funding. This position is also responsible quarterbacking the loan closing process by working closely with SBA BDOs, Portfolio Officers, borrowers, attorneys, and the loan closing management team to ensure there is a smooth, error-free loan closing.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of loan closing and funding process to assure compliance with SBA standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Facilitate loan movement through loan closing and funding process
- Work closely with SBA team members in reviewing the information required for closing and funding loan
- Perform audit to ensure all documents match and system of record contains accurate information

Act as main point of contact with the borrower, answering questions to ensure the borrower has a clear understanding of the loan closing process, with attention to customer service and closing details
- Collaborate with the borrower, attorneys, and other third parties associated with the loan to ensure necessary documents and any other items are produced on time for the set closing date

Responsible for generating reports that meet the requirement from the Bank and SBA team

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Science degree in Business or Finance preferred

Successful 4+ year experience with SBA lending field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is USD $90,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
