We are looking for:  Mid Backend Engineer to join our client’s team.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you'll be in charge of and responsible for the development of our backend systems. Because of the small nature of the team, you will work across the whole backend stack.

• strong proficiency in Python, Django, and SQL, with at least 3 years of experience working on backend systems.
• experience managing cloud infrastructure for web applications (AWS experience is a plus).
• familiarity with writing unit tests and ensuring software quality.
• excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.

• attention to detail and a positive attitude toward challenges.

• developing and maintaining backend solutions using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and REST technologies;
• collaborating with the product manager and engineering team to deliver features aligned with business needs;
• taking ownership of backend functionality, ensuring high-quality code and best practices;
• writing unit tests to ensure the reliability of your work;
• contributing to the development process and helping shape the future of our products;
• working with the business development team to understand key challenges and drive solution development;
• managing both Python code and the infrastructure it runs on;
• working closely with UI developers, providing support and feedback from users and colleagues;
• thinking of and implementing solutions to optimize support processes.
