Senior Site Reliability Engineer

ScaleU is working with a client that is the market-leader in their industry and is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team.

Examples of the sort of work you'll be doing in this role:

• Expertise in organizing and consolidating software environments (utilizing platforms like Docker, AWS ECS)

• Enforcing robust security protocols throughout the organization

• Handling intricate security initiatives from conception to execution and continuous upkeep

• Data exploration and analysis using ElasticSearch

• Deploying and refining caching frameworks (Redis, Varnish) to enhance efficiency Implementing

• Data Warehousing solutions (AWS Glue, AWS DMS, S3, Redshift)

• Enhancing performance by identifying and rectifying slow transactions via New Relic

• Establishing automated workflows across all operations (using Gitlab CI)

What a successful candidate will have:

• Extensive experience as a subject matter expert in infrastructure management (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

• In-depth understanding of security domains encompassing network, application, infrastructure fortification, and securing web servers/databases

• Past involvement in web/application development

• Demonstrated track record of proactive execution and goal-oriented delivery

• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, ElastiCache (Redis), ELB

• Familiarity with constructing CI/CD pipelines

• Expertise in container orchestration technology

• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with persistent follow-through
