To analyse samples on a shift basis and utilize laboratory equipment in order to ensure that quality standards and customer delivery requirements are met. Ensure effective laboratory service is provided to the all internal and external customers.
Your responsibilities:
  • Ensure completion of SCAT testing for finished goods within stipulated timeframe and generation of quality testing reports prior to shipment.
  • Ensure all QC testing procedures comply to customer requirements and international standard and are up to date in alignment with internal global requirement.
  • Maintain consumables and equipment, follow established procedures and ensure all the analytical equipment are in good condition and fit for purposes.
  • Follow Lab processes in accordance with Customer expectations and IMS requirements, e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA 6.3, ISO 17025, etc.
  • Control waste, scrap and archive accordingly.
  • Understand and utilize different systems: LIMS (enter results), Excel, Ship List for Lab samples analysis process.
  • Support to put in place the best practice and Continual Improvement (CI) in Lab processes.
  • Follow Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) rules and practices to ensure the safety of self and others. To promote and encourage pro-active approach in EHS culture within Lab shift team, to provide feedback for all breaches of the EHS requirements.
Requirements for the role:
  • Degree in Science/BSc in analytical chemistry or equivalent experience
  • 2 years’ experience in Laboratory environment
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft office applications (Excel, outlook, word)
  • IT-skills in relevant PC-applications e.g. LIMS, Minitab desirable
  • Knowledge of Lab equipment.
  • Knowledge in statistical analysis techniques and MSA desirable
