Scrum Master

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced scrum master to join our growing team of technical experts, creative thinkers, and business leaders. As a scrum master on our dynamic and driven consulting team, you will be responsible for owning and defining the scrum teams, handling scrum ceremonies, and delivery of products for our clients through a combination of thought leadership and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business, design, and engineering to iteratively scope, build, and launch scrum increments.
Drive the scrum team towards common product delivery goals
Establish prioritized product roadmaps, backed by business-driven research and analyses. Build consensus amongst stakeholders by defining a shared vision.
Develop requirements through understanding of business targets and objectives, taking into consideration factors such as impact on revenue and ROI.
Research, write, and prioritize detailed user stories with specifications, as well as high level business cases. Translate to presentations, proposals, wireframes, and mockups as needed to facilitate understanding.
Pragmatically leverage data and information coupled with high-quality user research to inform all aspects of the product development lifecycle.
Influence and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives on-time and on-budget with the goal of delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Perform scrum ceremonies and transform busineess vision into product and report back to stakeholders about the product development.
Track and manage team for optimum and efficient delivery

Requirements

4+ years of Scrum master with product management experience preferably in B2B and enterprise space
Should understand basic technologies to validate the team's responses during team meetings rather than be just a relay amongst sources.
Shipped at least 2+ products with end-to-end experience in managing the product development lifecycle
Experience working with clients in a consultative role or in entrepreneurial environments preferred
Information-driven and able to run both quantitative and qualitative analyses with a knack for deriving actionable insights
Detail-oriented with a high bar for quality when defining, designing, developing, and deploying initiatives
Ability to think on your feet and make good judgement calls in a consistent fashion, with a slant toward producing impactful and efficient results
Strong context-appropriate verbal and written communication, with skilled listening – please provide a writing sample that demonstrates your (1) research ability, (2) thoughtful synthesis of information, (3) development of compelling insights
