Seaport Global Holdings LLC seeks a full-time Front Office Operations Manager to join our Options Trading & Strategy team. This individual will be headquartered in New York City with the option to work remotely.
This is an opportunity to gain direct experience working with the industry’s top producers at a firm that provides clients with comprehensive market knowledge and real-time execution. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, thinks outside the box, and gets assignments done proactively.
Responsibilities - Relay client orders to the trading desk in real-time
- Disseminate information to the trading desk in a clear and concise way
- Monitor equity and option alerts
- Manage client database and order system
- Match trades on fix connections
- Book and allocate trades in a timely manner; handle clearing and next day trade breaks
- Assist with operational and administrative requests and miscellaneous research/data projects
Qualifications - Series 7 and 63 licenses required
- College degree in related area of study preferred
- 5-10 Years’ experience preferred; sales & trading assistant or operations/support
- Expertise using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Bloomberg
- Ability to communicate clearly via email and over the phone required
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- Positive and resourceful; ability to thrive under pressure required
$125,000 - $150,000 a year
Annual salary range DOE, Bonus eligible.
