The Organization:
Search for Common Ground (Search) is an international conflict transformation NGO that aims to transform the way individuals, groups, governments and companies deal with conflict, away from adversarial approaches and towards collaborative solutions. Headquartered in Washington DC, USA, and Brussels, Belgium, with offices in over 30 countries, Search designs and implements multifaceted, culturally appropriate and conflict-sensitive programs using a diverse range of tools, including media and training, to promote dialogue, increase knowledge and determine a positive shift in behaviors.
The Team:
The Program Implementation team has oversight for the implementation of Search’s programs and projects in its country offices, in accordance with Search and donor policies and procedures. The Program Implementation team works on the full life-cycle of the project, from the start-up phase to the full close-out. This involves designing work plans, implementing activities, reporting, financial management, and staffing management The Program Implementation team collaborates with other departments, including Finance, Institutional Learning, Programs, Global Affairs and Partnerships, Human Resources, and Information Technology
The Role:
Search for Common Ground (Search) seeks a Program Implementation Intern who will remotely support Search's Asia regional grants management team and country offices in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka. The Intern will work on project reporting, developing program learning and communications materials,managing project databases, and supporting regional initiatives.
Applicants must be based in the US or within the Search Asia region in one of these locations - Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka.
