Search Marketing Supervisor (SEO)

JOB SUMMARY:



SEO Supervisor has 4+ years of experience in organic search marketing/SEO. Healthcare and Pharmaceutical experience a plus. They are responsible for managing day-to-day SEO activities for clients including strategy, reporting, optimization, execution, and QA of SEO projects. They should be an advisor for the agency and clients on SEO best practices within the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry, case studies and key learnings, as well as developing and implementing SEO processes and protocols.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



Project manager for designated accounts.



Trains Junior staff on advanced SEO tactics.


Spearheads reporting alongside SEM team.


JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Directly manages the day-to-day hands-on operations of the Search client business overseeing Sr. Specialist and/or Specialists in their daily tasks to enhance their training and development.
  • Develops and manages the strategy for web projects and maps out SEO milestones based on specific website update goals and content updates.
  • Builds out initial reporting insights and presents results internally for review taking appropriate action to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Works with integrated media and analytics team to integrate reporting insights and recommended course of action given the larger media environment.
  • Builds a relationship with client and account contacts by presenting and fielding questions.
  • Oversees accuracy of pre-and-post-launch QAs and works with junior team on proper QA process.
  • Supports senior team members with ad-hoc requests while appropriately using junior team resources.
  • Expertly provides recommendations on content and technical SEO tactics contained within the SEO manuscript and technical build kit.
  • Is the Solve(d) expert with 3rd party tools such as: SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Google Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, Keyword Planner, & Schema.org.

COMPETENCIES:



  • Must be able to project manage, diagnose issues/identify opportunities, and optimize websites from both a technical and content SEO perspective.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEMRush, Google Keyword Planner, and Screaming Frog tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary

$80,000 to $92,000 annually

The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
