Compensation:



Hiring Salary Range Posted: $19.16- $19.16



Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.


Summary


Under general supervision participates in the monitoring of and the accurate collection of vineyard performance and laboratory data ensuring that the company’s level of product quality and operational performance is being met.


Essential Functions


  • Participates in collecting data such as vineyard row, vine configuration, vine cluster, berry counts /weights and bud dissections.
  • Collects vine tissues and soil samples for nutrient level determinations.
  • Conducts accurate data entry.
  • Supports a safe work environment.
  • Ensures that day-to-day actions decisions are consistent with all quality standards.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.

Minimum Qualifications


  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Required to be at least 18 years of age.
  • Required to work overtime when necessary.
  • Required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to read, write, speak and fully comprehend the English language.
  • Valid driver’s license. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Current enrollment in a college or university.
  • Skilled in undertaking and completing oriented tasks.
  • Experience working independently with a level of integrity and initiative.
