Position Overview:
As a Marketplace Coordinator Intern, you will assist with managing and optimizing our online marketplace platforms. You will gain practical experience in e-commerce operations, data analysis, and marketing strategies. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in marketplace management, project coordination, and digital marketing within a fast-paced and sustainable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketplace Management: Assist in the daily management of our marketplace listings on platforms such as Amazon and other relevant sites. Ensure product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketplace performance metrics, including sales data, traffic, and customer feedback. Generate reports and provide insights to improve performance.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and update product descriptions, images, and other content to enhance product listings and attract customers.
- Customer Service: Assist in addressing customer inquiries, managing reviews, and handling returns or issues related to marketplace transactions.
- Market Research: Research market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to support the development of marketplace strategies.
- Project Coordination: Support the coordination of special projects and promotional campaigns, including the setup and execution of sales events, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining internal documentation, SOP and email template creation, Account management & Escalation, Order management, tracking inventory levels, and updating marketplace schedules.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field, or recent graduate with relevant coursework.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and e-commerce operations. Experience with data analysis tools or content management systems is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
