Security Analyst

Security Operation -

The Security Operation Center analyst manages the risk procedures, working with Fujitsu’s global security organization. The analyst must communicate effectively to a varied audience, including various IT operations teams and Security/IT management.

• Management and evaluation of security incidents plus alerts
• Assess security and business risks
• Promote security tasks
• Review reports from Endpoint Protection tools (SIEM, TVM, AV)
• Manage tasks related to security programs
• Track completion of security remediation activities
• Escalate security alerts/ threats to the next level
• Create and update tickets
• Report status to team leader

• Communication skills, both written and verbal. This is critical, as much of this job will be communicating with Security and IT staff in Americas, Oceania, Europe, and (possibly) GDU.
• Basic network knowledge
• Basic security knowledge
• Ability to know where to look for bad actors on web reputation sites.
• Ability to read and understand standards such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001
• Knowledge of scanning tools (e.g., Qualys) and vulnerabilities (CVE ranking)
• Understanding of firewall basics (how they work), including ability to understand firewall rules.
• Basic knowledge of security product categories (purposes, features)

• Complete of a bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, or related field
• 0-2 years' experience
• Hybrid work style. Candidate must be local to DFW area.
