Job Description

Join SEEK’s Corporate Strategy and Investments (CSI) team to shape the future of our employment marketplace! As a Strategy Principal, you’ll play a critical role in defining SEEK’s growth strategy, analyzing market opportunities, and guiding investment management activities to achieve daring company goals.

The Team

The CSI team is a small, specialized group working on SEEK’s top-level strategic priorities, closely aligned with our executive leadership. Our team members are based in Melbourne, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore, providing an international perspective and collaboration across SEEK’s key markets. Together with the broader SEEK Strategy team—comprised of ex-top-tier consultants—we champion an environment that is intellectually stimulating, collaborative, and purposeful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate SEEK’s corporate strategy, growth ambition, and investment frameworks.
  • Lead and complete elements of investment portfolio management and corporate planning cycles.
  • Drive SEEK’s understanding of market dynamics and value pools through meticulous qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Lead investment activities, including prospect analysis, valuation forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Build and present strategic materials to the Executive Leadership Team, board, and external audiences.
  • Lead all aspects of complex, high-impact projects with a commitment to quality and precision.
  • Mentor and develop analyst teams to support professional growth and results.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in strategy roles, including at least one year at engagement manager level or similar in a top-tier firm.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of conducting detailed analysis and providing strategic insights.
  • Proven track record to independently lead and deliver sophisticated projects with leadership over team members.
  • Direct experience in M&A or corporate development, with knowledge of valuation and due diligence processes.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience crafting executive-level presentations.
  • Passion for technology, online marketplaces, and developing high-impact, data-driven growth strategies.
