Industry Marketing Director- Financial Services

We do that through crafting compelling, differentiated messaging, developing buyer-centric GTM strategies, leading product launches and post-launch growth, and having a deep understanding of the market. We work with teams across the company to enable our customer-facing teams, create the narratives that fuel our marketing efforts, and help shape the product roadmap. What you will be doing: We're looking for a Financial Services Industry Marketing Director to spearhead telling Seismic's story in key financial services sub-industries. Seismic is the undisputed leader in the Financial Services space, and you'll help us continue to drive growth and client success. You'll craft our vertical marketing strategy and plan, identify and size new growth opportunities, develop compelling content, and help the rest of the organization understand the industry. Leveraging your in-depth understanding of client needs within financial services, your responsibilities will include: Own the messaging framework for Financial Services and key sub-industries, and write or curate supporting content such as playbooks, pitch decks, and whitepapers Create foundational documents such as buyer personas and solution maps Conduct market sizing & segmentation Monitor industry trends (e.g., regulations) and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth Establish strategies to drive new client acquisition, as well as upsell and cross-sell Launch financial services specific product offerings Collaborate with the enablement team and other internal subject matter experts to train and educate GTM teams on financial services sub-industries What you will bring to the team: Deep understanding of the financial services industry Exceptional written and verbal storytelling ability, including synthesizing insights and ideas into simple, succinct narratives Strong ability to understand complex considerations and then frame in a simple manner to drive collective understanding, alignment, and decision-making Experience using customer, competitive and market intelligence to inform product roadmap and GTM strategy Analytical chops with the ability to create light-weight dashboards and models to size and segment the marketing Collaborative, creative, impactful and resourceful 10 years of professional experience with 5 in the financial services industry and preferably 3 in product management or marketing roles MBA, EMBA or equivalent a plus. Salary Range: $200K -- $250K Minimum Qualification Corporate Finance, Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
