Data Analyst (SQL & Tableau Specialist)
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with deep experience in writing advanced SQL queries and building data visualizations in Tableau. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with complex, large-scale databases and translating data into actionable insights through dashboards and visual reports.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Redshift, Snowflake).
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards that present data in a clear and actionable format.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data models, queries, and visual solutions.
- Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc data analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data presented in Tableau reports.
- Create documentation for SQL logic, Tableau dashboards, and data pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, reporting, and performance.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in SQL, with experience writing complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and performance optimization.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud.
- Experience working with large and/or complex relational databases.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling best practices.
- Ability to translate raw data into business insights through visualization and storytelling.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and access control in Tableau and databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Fivetran).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis (optional but a plus).

- Data Warehouses and ETL Tools (as applicable)
