You'll be:

Ensuring daily balancing of servicing transactions, including identification and timely resolution of out of balance conditions and reconciling items. Prepares reconciliations of general ledger and bank accounts, to include balancing, research, and resolution of reconciling items.

Preparing and analyzing month end and closing entries; assisting with generating and interpreting monthly financial statements and board reports; investigating and explaining the MoM variances on income statement and the budget to actual variances; assisting in the budget process.

Providing advice, assistance, and early warning of problems such as cost over-runs, excessive charges, and potential penalties; developing models to depict financial and related activities tailored for specific operation departments and business units; preparing and distributing department PNL reports; researching and answering questions from department managers.

Maintaining and updating the MSR for capitalized servicing rights sub-ledger, and reconciling to the general ledger, including acquired servicing rights; assisting in servicing acquisition and transition; performing quarterly testing on loans with capitalized servicing rights to ensure accuracy.

You'll have:

At least five (5) years of experience in accounting.

Bachelor degree in accounting, or equivalent experience.

Strong organizational skills aiding your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and deadline-driven environment.

Excellent communication skills, professional verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups).
