What you’ll achieve

We are currently seeking a Senior Advisor, Engineering & Operations - IT to join the Portfolio Delivery Office in the Security and Resiliency Office, based in the United States. The Senior Advisor will join Dell’s Security & Resiliency Office to deliver critical initiatives aligned to Dell’s Security roadmap, supporting our Cyber, Physical, Product, Supply Chain, Enterprise Resiliency, and IT functions. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and fast-moving, with the ability to analyze business requirements/processes and system integration considerations to determine appropriate technology solutions.

You will:

• Provide Jira Admin Support for Jira Software, Confluence and related 3rd party Plug-Ins

• Analyze business needs and create reporting solutions via REST API’s into SharePoint, Power BI, ServiceNow, GitLab, etc.

• Resolve customer issues with software solutions and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements

• Evaluate and recommend software solutions to meet user needs, and work with business and development teams to clarify requirements to ensure functionality and usability

• Responsible for preparing design documentation, prepares test data for unit, and parallel testing, execute test procedures according to requirements specifications and logs defects, and retest software corrections to ensure problems are resolved

Essential Requirements

• Jira Admin Experience including JQL and REST API’s

• Power BI and SharePoint Development/Coding Experience

• Ability to build scripts within ScriptRunner

• Ability to communicate and translate needs to technical solutions

• Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing, shifting priorities and have flexibility across time zones

Desirable Requirements

• 6-8 years of validated experience in computer engineering

• Ensures rigorous attention to detail in all work activities and products
