What you’ll achieve
Develop approaches to address critical information security issues and manages crisis/incident response. Provide daily maintenance to and oversees operations of multiple customers’ firewall and network security infrastructure.

You will

• Reviews, prioritizes and recommends information security improvements as they relate to the achievement of Dell’s business goals. Coordinates, administers, manages and monitors the use of access control systems security tools and intrusion detection systems to identify anomalous events and security infractions that exploit system vulnerabilities. Integrates information security controls into an environment to identify risks and reduce their impact

• Provides potential risk to information security and recommends solutions and creates and maintains information security documentation as well as communicates information security procedures to users

• Reviews and recommends changes to information security policies. Designs, develops or recommends security systems solutions for protection of proprietary data and systems. Provides technical services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions

• Participates with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into processes and systems. Coordinates, administers, manages and monitors the use of network security control and tools to identify anomalous events and security infractions that exploit system vulnerabilities

• Integrates network security controls into an environment to identify risks and reduce their impact and provides ideas of potential risk to network security and recommends solutions. Creates and maintains network security documentation. Communicates network security procedures to users and reviews and recommends changes to network security policies

Essential Requirements

• 7 years experience in end user security technologies like antivirus, Device Encryptions, HOST IDS. Knowledge of log management tools, PKI etc.; Knowledge (router/switch)

• Working knowledge of UNIX, LINUX and Microsoft technologies

• Applied knowledge of risk management concepts

• Expert knowledge of systems and network administration i.e. desktop, server. Thorough knowledge of the Globally accepted Information Security Principles

• US Citizenship/US Resident Required

Desirable Requirements

• IT security industry experience and an understanding of the associated technology risk

• CERTIFICATION: CISSP, GIAC, GCIH, GMON, GCFA etc. SSCP, CySA+, CEH, OSCP
