General Scope and Summary
SAGE Therapeutics is searching for an analytics oriented individual to deliver people focused predictive analytics and analyses to the organization. The Senior Analyst will develop models to support People & Experience (P&E), employee, and manager insights into the results of P&E programs, policies, and practices. The role will proactively identify trends to track the workforce, give insight into employee and system data, and highlight trends. The Senior Analyst acts as a consultant to the organization in understanding the P&E data landscape – where data exists, what limitations there may be, and how to manipulate it into actionable information. This individual will train the P&E organization in best practices and help to enable self-service in One Model (People Analytics Platform) through that training and the continued development of the team’s analytical capabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
Leverage the appropriate infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
Perform data validation and testing and contribute to process design in an effort to obtain required data.
Build analytics tools, including predictive analytics models, that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into talent acquisition, attrition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Transform, model, and visualize data to deliver insights and recommend actions to client teams.
Identify patterns and uncover meaning in large amounts of data.
Interpret and articulate results of analysis with clients, often visually.
Partner closely with functions, including Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards, as well as business leaders to ensure programs are effectively supported and high-quality standards are maintained.
Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills
The successful candidate has a good understanding of business processes to identify business issues and opportunities while using complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, optimize, and format data. Will design and develop customized reports and outputs, utilizing visualization tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment as well as a proven ability to achieve results are a must.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of analytics experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of relevant People Analytics experience.
3+ years of Human Resources analytics experience.
Experience with predictive analytics models, ideally with Human Resources.
Proven track record in reviewing and organizing data.
Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, data entry, and trending.
Demonstrated proficiency in hands-on analytical/QC work and willingness to learn how to solve more complex analytical challenges.
Detail oriented and ability to make keen observations.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel.
