The Denver office of SmithGroup is looking for a Senior Application Developer to join our team.
Working with us, you will:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and services using Azure services such as App Services, Functions, SQL Database, Service Bus, etc. as well as other services including SharePoint Online
Use back-end technologies such as C#, .NET, and ASP.NET MVC to implement business logic and APIs that can be leveraged with SharePoint Online and Power Automate
Use front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Blazor, or React to create user-friendly and responsive web interfaces
Collaborate with the architect, business analyst, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that solve business problems
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and feedback
Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs in a timely manner
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices
Write unit tests to ensure quality and reliability with solutions
Research and evaluate new technologies and frameworks
An ideal candidate has:
Proficient in back-end technologies such as C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC or Web API
Proficient in Azure SQL Database
Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Blazor or React
Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB
Familiarity with using Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD, testing, and deployment
Experience with SharePoint Online development and customization
Experience in leading a team of developers and managing projects
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
Have ability to reason and apply common-sense understanding to situations encountered
Ten or more years of experience in full stack web development using Microsoft technologies
Three years or more of experience in developing web applications and services using Azure cloud technologies
bachelor's degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience
SmithGroup offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefit package. The anticipated salary range for this position is $XX,XXX?to $XX,XXX annually, at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more less than the anticipated salary range for this position. Additionally, an employee in this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus on an annual basis.
