Senior Associate, Client Finance

Job Overview:

Partnering with the Client Service Teams, associate responsible for assisting Client Finance with the daily tasks required to meet the financial needs of the client in a fast paced, high-volume environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/Update client profile and fee submission forms; working with client service teams -to gather appropriate information
    • Monitor and track detail on fee jobs
    • Submit various billing requests through an internal company site, with the necessary support
  • Review and coordinate third party client billable expenses to ensure coding to the proper client
  • Maintain POs, MPAs, and SOWs data base and files
  • Provide and prepare time reports for labor reconciliation
  • Track and report Week-Over-Week Budget changes
  • Proactively document and follow up on any budgeting, billing, invoicing, or payment issues that pertain to Clients
  • Manage day to day Finance responsibilities on Clients including but not limited to client/product/job set up, production invoices, ad hoc reporting, and vendor payment issues
  • Operational / Administrative account setup and maintenance; Setting up codes, receivables, billing issues, estimates, work with GroupM Finance team on various issues
  • Provide support for internal month/quarter/year end close requirements (backup, variance commentary, journal entries)
  • Assist with internal and external audits (as needed)
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required

Job Requirements:

  • Organized and detail oriented with strong time management and follow-through skills
  • 1-2 years’ experience in media planning/investment or client finance role
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A strong team player with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Proficient in Windows based PC applications including Excel and Word
  • Strong desire to learn and a spirit of cooperation
  • Undergraduate degree (preferably in Finance or Business)

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, please visit
