Position Overview

Daily Harvest is looking for a Senior Associate, Growth Analytics to join the Analytics group within our Data team. The Data team uses data to create better customer experiences, enable smarter business decisions, and drive innovations company-wide. We do this by providing accurate, actionable analyses, building sophisticated data products, and maintaining a reliable data infrastructure.

You will develop an intimate understanding of how our data is structured and transform raw information into key metrics and intuitive, eye-opening visualizations that empower our Digital Product and Marketing teams to make effective decisions. You will be a valued thought partner, helping the Analytics team define the best metrics to measure success and to devise and evaluate experiments that will meaningfully drive growth as we create the next great consumer brand in food. What you’ll do:

• Perform quantitative analyses and run A/B tests to evaluate performance of growth initiatives across digital product & marketing and advise senior management on key strategic decisions
• Assess new digital product opportunities, work with product managers and engineers to estimate expected impact and ROI of new feature launches. 
• Take responsibility for projects from conception to completion, with guidance from Analytics Team Leadership and collaboration with peers 
• Develop insights and recommendations and present to senior business partners including members of the Daily Harvest Leadership Team
• Monitor business performance and present this information to stakeholders in live Looker dashboards and other presentations and reports help define our growth strategy across the company
• Utilize proprietary data and other sources to better understand our customers, their preferences, and their purchasing decisions
• Participate in cross-functional teams and build relationships with key internal clients and business partners including Marketing, Digital Product, Finance and Engineering teams

Who you are:

• 4+ years of directly applicable experience in an analytical role in consulting, finance, high-growth start-up, or related business; E-commerce experience, especially within a subscription company, is a plus
• Experience with analyzing large datasets, such as transactional and site traffic data for actionable business insights 
• Strong understanding of experimentation and experience in designing, monitoring and analyzing rigorous A/B tests
• Strong SQL skills are a must. Experience with other technical tools such as R, Python, and visualization softwares such as Looker is a plus
• Evidence of analytical skills, problem solving, business acumen and strong logical thinking 
• Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate analyses to non-technical employees
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving and constantly evolving hyper growth environment 

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
