Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Branded Content Operations, you’ll be responsible for the project management of key cross-platform partnerships with Morning Brew’s clients. You will collaborate across teams to take ideas from development to delivery. This includes budgeting and timeline development in the pre-sale process and managing that timeline and budget in post-sale. In addition you will work with the Branded Content team to produce original content for various mediums and platforms. What You’ll Do:
- Plan, organize, and manage both client and in-house projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with Integrated Marketing & Content Strategy (pre-sale), Brand Partners (sales), Account Management, Design, Product, Creative, and AdOps to ensure projects are developed and delivered on time, in scope, and within budget
- Communicate directly with clients in both written and verbal scenarios, following up with next steps internally and externally, and tackling client challenges with positivity
- Support Manager, Branded Content Operations on complex top-tier partnerships and independently manage mid-tier partnerships that may include any of the following: newsletter placements, podcast ads, editorial sponsorships, paid social, branded content articles, etc.
- Define client KPI requirements and analytics priorities, developing project plans to track progress
- Create and oversee comprehensive timelines and project documentation utilizing various software tools and templates
- Update and maintain team trackers, indexes, and other shared team docs
- Work closely with the team to improve workflows and processes and communicate them to the organization
What makes you qualified?
- 2-4 years project management experience in media (publisher experience preferred)
- Self-starter who thrives in both independent and collaborative work with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented team player with outstanding organizational and communication skills
- A pragmatic, enthusiastic, and empathetic attitude
- The ability to get the best out of the people and the projects you oversee and deliver feedback with tact
- Effectively communicate internally and externally to clients in written and verbal form
- Passionate about Morning Brew and the work we do
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Google Apps, Keynote, as well as understanding of project management software
Nice-to-haves:
Experience working with multiple client categories
Video, audio, custom content production experience
