Senior Backend Engineer

Founded by ex-Apple Product and Engineering leaders, Level is redefining the smart home with technology that is simple, intuitive, useful, and invisible. We recently raised a $100M C round and we're looking to grow our engineering team.

We're looking to add a Senior Server-side (Backend) developer to our engineering team. If you're interested in solving complex problems associated with providing a Smart Home experience to others and scaling an application to handle hundreds of thousands to millions of events a day, as well as working in an open, diverse, and inclusive environment, Level Home could be an ideal fit for your career. We look for strategic thinkers and creative problem solvers with a bias for execution and we'll expect you to contribute code as well as product/feature ideas from the get-go.

Our technology stack features languages like Python and Rust. Hand in hand with technologies like AWS SNS, Lambda and EKS which allows us to gain data integrity across the platform. We also use common relational solutions such as RDS and Aurora.
