Senior Clinical Marketing Manager Visualization - Verathon®

If you have a passion for identifying and amplifying new clinical concepts and trends in critical care, this role might be for you. Verathon® is looking for a Senior Clinical Marketing Manager to become the newest member of our Visualization business located in Bothell, WA.

As the Clinical Marketing Manager, you will lead developing and implementing the endoscopy and airway management clinical marketing plan. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and communicating the clinical value of Verathon’s visualization portfolio. Working independently and with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), you will develop education, create clinical marketing content, and facilitate studies related to endoscopy and airway management.
Principal Responsibilities:

  • Lead Verathon’s endoscopy and airway management clinical positioning and messaging
  • Monitor new clinical concepts and trends in critical care. Stay abreast and educate the organization on new research
  • Create initiatives to expand knowledge of clinical information with customers and internal stakeholders (primarily sales, marketing, and R&D)
  • Develop course topics, plan curricula, identify and support accreditation as appropriate, and arrange for expert speakers for internal and external education
  • Working closely with marketing and sales, develop customer clinical collateral, including case studies, testimonials, webinars, white papers, journal summaries, and clinical “tips and tricks” to support product utilization goals
  • Support video and photo shoots to ensure marketing imagery is clinically accurate
  • Contribute clinical expertise to new product development and potential business development activities
  • Define and help validate clinical claims for new products
  • Develop and maintain KOL and strategic institution relationships for purposes of product development and / or promotion
  • Manage meetings with Verathon’s team of medical advisors to elicit feedback on clinical and product strategy
  • Serve as advocate and headquarters liaison with the field based clinical specialist team, including creating and delivering educational content
  • Monitor grants program, including serving as a liaison on Verathon supported clinical studies and sim center initiatives
  • Participate in the budget preparation for grants program and monitor performance of the budget

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • BS/BA in Nursing or another clinical field
  • Minimum 10 years of clinical marketing or relevant experience, preferably in Medical Devices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Clinical teaching/education development experience desired
  • Current license appropriate to field of expertise preferred
  • Self-motivated, self-directing, strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing a clinical marketing strategy
  • Proven organizational, planning and project management skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Collaborator and team player with a positive attitude

Salary Range: $136,000-$159,000 (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location. If this position is filled outside of the Seattle, WA metro area, this salary range will vary depending on the specific hiring location)

Full-time non-sales employees are eligible for Verathon's annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
