Join a team of experts as a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer and take on the exciting challenge of ensuring seamless operation and maintenance of Horizon and CBORD’s hosted infrastructure on AWS. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of mission-critical enterprise systems and leverage your project leadership skills to provide exceptional service to customers.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Fine-tune cloud environments to deliver optimum performance
  • Deploy application code into production environments with the help of cross-functional teams
  • Architect and manage Linux-based and Windows Server systems in a highly available customer-facing environment
  • Design and implement secure local and wide-area networks
  • Ensure safe and secure systems by adhering to policies and procedures for hosted PCI/HIPAA/SOC2 infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve incidents with effective root cause analysis
  • Mentor junior team members and continuously innovate within the hosted infrastructure

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • 4+ years of experience in network operations and system administration (Linux and Windows)
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS
  • Excellent understanding of networking technologies and secure communication protocols
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team or autonomously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects

Salary: As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $85,000 - $95,000 per year depending on years of experience.

What’s Good to Know

  • This role may require occasional night and weekend work and travel up to 10 days per year.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
